Needing an innovative solution to process sugarcane trash into a useful product, Sunshine Sugar co-financed a feasibility study with Sustinent.
Sunshine Sugar CEO, Chris Connors is pleased to announce; “Extensive laboratory testing by Sunshine Sugar and Sustinent has confirmed a viable production process for Nutritionally Enhanced Sugarcane Straw (NESS) for use in stockfeed.”
This value-added product is protein enriched and easy to digest, making it a beneficial ruminant and equine stockfeed, with strong pre-sale orders taken from livestock farmers.
